The Center for Metabolism and Mitochondrial Medicine (C3M) is a joint initiative sponsored and funded by the University of Pittsburgh School of Medicine Department of Medicine, Division of Endocrinology and Metabolism, Division of Cardiology, and the Vascular Medicine Institute.
Mission
To facilitate and support ongoing research and initiate novel research that address the role of metabolism and mitochondria in physiology and their contribution to disease pathology, with the goal of translating this knowledge into strategies for diagnosis and treatment of disease.

TrMAD SYMPOSIUM
The Translational Research in Mitochondria, Aging, and Disease Symposium is an all-day retreat and free event that is held annually in Pittsburgh, PA.
MITOCHONDRIA, AGING, AND METABOLISM RETREAT
The University of Pittsburgh/UPMC Mitochondria, Aging, and Metabolism Work Group Retreat was held in Pittsburgh on June 9, 2014. The purpose of this retreat is to assemble a synergistic and multidisciplinary group of investigators from across campus who have an interest in aging and/or metabolism research.
PITTSBURGH LUNG CONFERENCE
The purpose of the Pittsburgh Lung Conference is to present cutting edge clinical, translational, and basic investigations in an area of lung disease selected each year.
