Vascular Biology

The vascular biology group is comprised of basic, translational and clinical research faculty and research teams studying vascular physiology and pathophysiology. The vascular biology groups are dedicated to championing fundamental basic science research, development of new therapies and strategies in improve vascular health and translational approaches to prevent or treat vascular complications associated with vascular disease. This integrated group strongly supports training of undergraduate, pre- and postgraduate students, residents and fellows in vascular research and medicine. Collaborations among groups has yielded several NIH and AHA co-investigator grants and numerous co-authorships in top-tier journals.
